As the Manufacturing HR Manager, you will oversee two direct reports. Daily you will be responsible for the following tasks:Evaluate, further develop and improve tactical and strategic plan of human resources for the siteManage the labor strategy of the plant, including collective bargaining, grievances, and understanding the contractDetermine policy changes as needed and update company on needed initiativesSupport recruitment specialist with the recruitment plan for the companyCommunicate at executive, manager and staff levels to resolve HR inquiries and concernsCoach and mentor company team members on HR-related concerns, including leading, coaching and overseeing HR staff membersEnsure plant compliance as an expert related to FMLA, ADA, EEO and OSHASupport benefits specialist with benefits administrationWork within the company ERP system and HRIS system for reporting and documentationSupport, develop, and administer site training at all levels of the plantEmpower and coach the HR team to meet their individual and team goalsManage multiple HR projects at a timeUtilize the company ATS (applicant tracking system) for verification of hours, documentation and reportingParticipate in policy review and stay updated on employment lawLead and conduct employee relations, including needed investigations and resolving employee conflictSupport EHS Manager with BWC and OSHA log documentation and communicationProvide insight as a key confidant to the General ManagerEstablish and improve HR practices based on data and analysisComplete additional tasks as assignedQualified candidates will be able to take ownership of and prioritize projects, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be self-motivated, organized, collaborative and flexible with work requirements. Qualified candidates will enjoy spending time on the manufacturing floor, building rapport with the site team members. Strong HR compliance 5. Background in recruitment 6. Strong employee relations experience 7. HRIS experience 8. Microsoft Office, including Word and ExcelSkills preferred but NOT required: 1. HR certifications 2. ERP experience 3.
