Key Responsibilities Accurately and safely dispense prescribed medications to patients in accordance with physician orders and pharmacy regulations. Provide patients with information on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions to ensure safe and effective use. Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and legality. Monitor and track the effectiveness and safety of medications through patient feedback, laboratory data, and follow-up care. Ensure that the pharmacy maintains proper inventory levels of medications and is compliant with regulations for controlled substances.
