Epic Research Applications Analyst IV-Digital and Technology Partners

Role Description

This position is a senior level analyst position responsible for acquiring in-depth knowledge of the application, their software, architecture as well as any interdependencies in the Mount Sinai landscape. It also entails working independently in completing project tasks and leading the execution of tasks as part of any application implementation and support:

• System components
• Testing
• Documentation of workflows and other project information

In addition, this position requires the ability to independently interact with clients and guide decision making as well as demonstrate critical thinking and follow through when developing solutions to identified issues.

The individual will be responsible for framework processes and methodologies involving departmental or cross-functional teams and planning, coordinating, and monitoring:

• Scope
• Requirements
• Schedules
• Budgets
• Resources
• Tasks
• Risks
• Staff
• Deliverables

This position will also monitor the project from initiation through completion and organize and lead activities relating to project management and completion.

This position consults with business partners to define requirements and develop solutions, demonstrating a high level of analytical and operational thinking and ability to translate requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for IT solutions and integrating architecture.
