We're seeking the right candidate for the position of Accounts Manager at Lakeland Community Care Center . In this vital role, you'll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.


What You Bring to the Table:

Essential Qualifications:

• Must have some accounting experience.
• Must have computer skills.
• Must be able to type and use other office equipment.
• Will receive on-the-job training regarding proper handling of administrative matters according to formulated policies as well as offsite training at central accounting offices.
• Has ability to work well with the general public.
• Has ability to meet and deal with a variety of employees, residents and relatives.
• Considerable initiative and judgment are needed in promoting favorable public relations.
• Must be sociable, courteous and have a memory for details.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

• Handles resident billing and collection per prescribed procedures.
• Familiar with insurance coverage on residents to channel their medical bills and supplies.
• Familiar with Medicare (Part A and Part B), Medicaid, and PPO/HMO verification and appeal processes
• Familiar with the admission folder and admission procedure for new admissions.
• Relates knowledgeable information regarding admission requirements and rates.
