In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your energetic and compassionate approach will help foster growth, independence, and improved quality of life for children and adults on the autism spectrum and with other disabilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in behavioral health while providing impactful support in home-based settings.\n\nDuties\n\n Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.\n Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, eating, and hygiene, fostering independence.\n Collect accurate data on client progress during sessions to inform ongoing treatment plans and ensure compliance with ethical standards.\n Support clients in educational activities, teaching new skills aligned with their care plans and goals.\n Maintain detailed medical documentation and records while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.\n Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and team members to provide consistent support across environments.\n Follow all professional and ethical guidelines outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and maintain a high standard of patient care.\n\n\nQualifications\n\n Prior experience working with children with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders is highly preferred.\n Knowledge of early intervention\n Experience working in home-based behavioral therapy settings or with children is advantageous.\n Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and behavior health principles.\n Ability to assist clients with ADLs and implement behavior intervention strategies effectively.\n Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and other healthcare professionals.\n Must be committed to ongoing professional development and adhering to ethical standards for behavior analysts.\n\n
