Leasing Consultant

We're looking for an outgoing, motivated Leasing Consultant to join our team at Monticello Falls Church. You'll be one of the faces of our community, helping prospective residents find their next home and creating a great experience from their first inquiry all the way through move-in day. What You'll Do Welcome prospective residents and respond to phone, email, web and walk-in inquiries promptly and professionally. Tour apartment homes and community amenities while helping prospects find the home that fits their needs. Actively convert leads into leases by building rapport, identifying prospect needs, overcoming objections, and confidently asking for the lease. Manage the CRM queue daily, ensuring all leads are responded to promptly and follow-up activity is completed consistently. Maintain an organized prospect pipeline and conduct ongoing phone, email, and text follow-up to move leads through the leasing process. Guide applicants through the application, approval and move-in process. Prepare accurate move-in packages, lease paperwork and required documentation. Maintain accurate records of traffic, leasing activity, specials, vacancies and prospect follow-up. Track lead activity, conversion, follow-up performance and leasing results to support occupancy goals. Partner with the leasing and management team to meet or exceed leasing, occupancy and conversion goals, with a strong focus on longer-vacant apartment homes. Consistently work toward individual and team leasing goals while maintaining a strong customer experience. Stay current on Fair Housing requirements and EPI Management leasing policies and procedures. Starting at $22.00 per hour, with final compensation based on experience, plus monthly new lease commissions and renewal pool commissions. Required Qualifications Strong sales aptitude with the confidence to guide prospects through the leasing decision and ask for the lease. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. High-energy, customer-service-driven approach with the ability to build rapport quickly with prospects and residents from diverse backgrounds. Reliable, self-motivated, accountable and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple leads, follow-ups and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to follow a sales process, set goals, stay organized and consistently follow through. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning property management and CRM software. Ability to follow all Fair Housing requirements and EPI Management leasing policies and procedures. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of leasing or sales experience, including working toward sales goals in a fast-paced environment. Previous multifamily property management leasing experience is a plus. Working knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws and Fair Housing requirements. Experience with Yardi CRM IQ or similar property management/leasing CRM software. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
