Outpatient Physical Therapist - 6 Month ContractThe Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves the delegation and direction of therapy services, ensuring effective treatment programs for the community return. The therapist serves as an educator for patients, families, and coworkers while maintaining adherence to professional standards and organizational compliance.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients and develop treatment plans aimed at achieving discharge goals within an established length of stay.Document medical records clearly, accurately, and in compliance with clinic policies and state regulations.Participate in the student program by providing supervision and mentorship.Engage in professional development through continuing education and involvement in professional activities.Adhere to state practice acts and maintain licensure, completing all required continuing education.Demonstrate awareness of and contribute to performance improvement initiatives within the organization.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.Current CPR certification.Active Physical Therapist license for the state where work will be performed.Schedule:This position operates on a 5x8 schedule, with evaluations lasting 60 minutes and follow-up sessions every 30 minutes.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
