Essential skills for this role include experience in SLP for schools, pediatrics, teletherapy, and healthcare settings. Whether you are already ASHA certified and hold an ESA with Washington State, or soon to be, your dedication to student growth and communication milestones will make an immediate impact.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Washington State ESA certification required
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially ages 3-5
- Knowledge of teletherapy platforms (a plus)
- Strong evaluation, assessment, and individualized intervention skills
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services to preschool and kindergarten-aged students
- Conduct comprehensive child find evaluations and report findings
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation on services and progress
- Serve as an advocate for student communication needs
