About the Role:
Join Imagination Childcare Academy, Inc. as a UPK Teacher and inspire young minds in a nurturing environment! We are seeking passionate educators who are dedicated to fostering creativity and a love for learning in our UPK students.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Utilize play-based learning techniques to enhance cognitive and social skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and curriculum.
• Maintain classroom organization and manage student behavior effectively.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• New York State Teaching Certification for Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2).
• At least 2 years experience in a preschool or early childhood setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
