Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.We are looking to hire an experienced construction sales representative to grow our large projects division. This role will be primarily focused on sales of new fire alarm systems working closely with electrical and general contractors.As a sales rep, you will have the unique flexibility to offer full turnkey, partial turnkey or parts and smarts, giving you the competitive edge most fire alarm companies do not offer. Our primary goal is to expand our business and expertise into the mission critical and new construction sector of the fire alarm system industry.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leadsSales focusing on fire protection with a focus on fire alarm systems.Knowledge of fire alarm system installation requirements and methods.Experience writing proposals and estimating.Ability to establish customer repour and build strategic partnerships.Meet yearly sales goals set by the sales manager.Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.Perform other duties assigned by management.Education/Qualification:Experience with EST 4 and EST Edge platforms.Experience with Mission critical facility fire protection systems.NICET II or equivalent certification.Experience utilizing quoting tools Bidnet And Bid Tracer.Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, Bluebeam and Procore.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Other Duties:Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.Performs other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to travel.Compensation:65K-85K Base Salary (depending on experience) + competitive commission structure.Anticipated Close:10.25.2026Benefits and Perks:Excellent payMedical, dental, visionCompany paid life insuranceCompany paid short-term disability401K with employer matchPaid vacation and company holidaysTraining and Career DevelopmentCompany vehicle (if job applicable)Immediate qualification for the ALL In Ownership Plan for all eligible full-time employeesPye-Barker Fire & Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
