Make a meaningful impact as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting students and staff for the 2026-2027 academic year. This vital contract opportunity offers you the chance to serve as one of just two OTs across this dynamic district, located near Puyallup, Washington, with responsibilities extending to both direct student care and staff collaboration.

Key qualifications:

• Current Washington OT license or the ability to obtain prior to the start date
• Clear record with strong, up-to-date references ready for review
• Proven experience in school-based occupational therapy settings is highly preferred
• Comfortable managing a student caseload of around 30 while delivering Tier 1 supports and training to instructional staff
• Able to commit to onsite service (virtual placements and COTAs are not options)
• Demonstrated communication skills, collaborative spirit, and adaptability

You'll make a difference by:

• Delivering occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs
• Assessing, evaluating, and tracking students’ progress, developing plans to enhance both academic and daily functioning
• Working collaboratively with educators to integrate Tier 1 support strategies for classrooms
• Providing consultation and training to staff, empowering them to better support students school-wide
• Maintaining accurate, timely records that align with district and regulatory standards

Here, you'll work a consistent 40-hour week, from September 2, 2026 through June 17, 2027, ensuring a balance of routine and growth in your practice. You’ll collaborate with caring colleagues and serve a close-knit, appreciative school community.
