Materials Coordinator
Knapheide Truck Equipment
Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Acworth, GA is looking to hire a full-time Materials Coordinator to supply parts to the production area, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. This full-time position works Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM ; additional overtime as needed or required.

DAY-TO-DAY AS A MATERIALS COORDINATOR:
- Purchase required equipment and supplies.
- Communicate with vendors and maintain forecasted equipment arrival dates.
- Find solutions to equipment lead time issues.
- Manage inventory stock levels.
- Maintain on-site inventory organization.
- Conduct regular cycle counts.
- Complete 100% physical inventory annually.
- Load, unload and store equipment from transport trucks.
- Effectively communicate with other team members to discuss special items, obstacles, lead times, etc..

Experience
- Exposure to vehicle repairs and/or parts sales a plus.
- MRP or equivalent business system experience.
- Purchasing parts and service for ongoing manufacturing operations.
- Time management and execution of detailed tasks.
- Mechanical/technical aptitude.
- Forklift operation.
- This position will require working on a computer much of the time and the ability to learn a new MRP system.
