Lamar Blvd., Austin, TX 78704 Job Type Full Time Physician – 144 hours/month Part Time Physician – 72 hours/month Responsibilities Immediate evaluation and diagnosis of patients upon arrival. Administer urgent medical treatments, including necessary procedures. Stabilize patients before further treatment or transfer. Collaborate closely with nurses, paramedics, and specialists. Interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans. Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, prognoses, and plans. Document and maintain detailed patient records. Engage in continuous professional development in emergency medicine. Performance KPIs Quality KPIs – focus on patient experience and clinical outcomes. Requirements Active Texas State Licensure. Completed Residency in any Specialty. One year of Emergency Medicine or an Emergency Medicine Residency. PALS/ACLS/ATLS (BLS preferred). Experience in a free‑standing emergency department or urgent care setting (preferred). Experience managing multiple clinical sites and leading cross‑functional teams. Medical degree from an accredited institution. Deep knowledge of current medical practices, procedures, and equipment. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work quickly in high‑stress environments. Internal, Family, or Emergency Medicine backgrounds preferred.
