Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial records. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience using QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) to handle accounts, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Ledger Maintenance: Record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain clean general ledgers.
• QuickBooks Management: Categorize bank and credit card feeds, match transactions, and resolve data discrepancies inside QuickBooks.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process vendor invoices, manage bill payments, track customer invoices, and follow up on collections.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile monthly bank and credit card statements accurately.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare essential financial statements including profit-and-loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries.
• Payroll & Tax Prep: Assist with basic payroll processing and prepare data for year-end 1099s or tax filings.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of dedicated bookkeeping experience.
• Software Proficiency: Proven, hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop (QuickBooks Certification is a major plus).
• Technical Skills: Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and basic cloud tools.
• Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of core accounting principles and basic GAAP compliance.
• Soft Skills: High level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and clear professional communication.
