NABRICO Marine Products is seeking a detail-oriented, safety-focused Health & Safety Support team member to join our operation in Ashland City, Tennessee. In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Health & Safety department by assisting with safety programs, training records, documentation, compliance activities, employee engagement initiatives, and day-to-day safety operations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, communicates effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, and is passionate about supporting a safe and healthy workplace.

NABRICO Marine Products is a leading manufacturer of inland barges and marine products serving the U.S. inland waterway system. Our products help transport essential commodities including grain, coal, aggregates, petroleum products, fertilizers, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes throughout the nation's waterways.

In addition to manufacturing dry cargo and tank barges, NABRICO Marine Products is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers and produces a complete line of marine deck hardware, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.

• Support the administration of health and safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain safety training records, certifications, and compliance documentation.
• Assist with new hire safety orientation and onboarding activities.
• Track and schedule required safety training and employee certifications.
• Conduct routine audits of safety records, forms, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations, corrective action tracking, and recordkeeping.
• Support safety meetings, committees, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Assist with safety inspections and observations throughout the facility.
• Help maintain safety supplies, personal protective equipment (PPE), and related inventories.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and communications related to health and safety initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and management regarding safety-related matters.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or coursework in Occupational Safety, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
• Previous administrative, manufacturing support, safety, human resources, or office experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Ability to listen, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to supporting workplace safety.

• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to walk throughout the facility to conduct inspections, audits, training activities, and safety observations.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry safety supplies, training materials, and equipment.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering production areas.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions when performing plant-floor activities.
