Servicing and repairing commercial elevators:
Able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical parts
Timely completion of assigned preventative maintenance
Daily closing of assigned tickets with accurate information.
Communication on elevator status with on-site personnel.
Understanding the use of PPE and all safety rules
Understanding of wiring diagrams Elevator Mechanic Requirements:
Relevant mechanical certification - Elevator Mechanic License preferred.
Previous work experience as an elevator mechanic running a service route.
Advanced knowledge of elevator systems, mechanical walkways, and escalators.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
Ability to travel and work after hours when required. Must have a clean driving record with no recent tickets or accidents in the past three years
Must pass a drug and background screen
