Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental and emotional health to establish baseline data and treatment goals. \n
- Formulate individualized treatment plans based on clients’ unique needs, goals, and assessment results, engaging clients in the planning process. \n
- Facilitate both individual and couples therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to address diverse mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and relational conflicts. \n
- Provide crisis intervention and support, ensuring clients in acute distress receive timely assistance. \n
- Maintain meticulous client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring documentation is compliant with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care, advocating for clients' rights and addressing their comprehensive needs. \n
- Stay informed of the latest trends, research findings, and therapeutic techniques in marriage and family therapy, participating in ongoing professional development. \n
- Encourage self-care practices among clients, promoting their active engagement in mental wellness activities. \n
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Marina Medical Center, you will work with a diverse clientele spanning various age groups and backgrounds. Qualifications\n- \n
- Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field. \n
- Current active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Oregon. \n
- Demonstrable experience providing therapy to individuals and couples, with an emphasis on maintaining professional conduct. \n
- Proficient writing and communication abilities, particularly regarding the timely completion of clinical documentation. \n

- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a therapeutic context. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth service delivery. \n
