Medical Assistant Baltimore MDPay From: $20 Per HourMUST: The Medical Assistant needs to have the following: 2 + years of experience as a medical assistant in a private practice medical specialty setting Rooming patients Obtaining vitals and medical histories Handling wound care (experience in plastics a plus) Documenting and updating detailed patient information in EMR Assisting with exams and procedures Handling clinical duties as required Responding to patient inquiries Assisting providers as needed Ability to work independently BLS thru High School Diploma or GEDDUTIES: The duties of the Medical Assistant include but are not limited to the following: Room patients Obtain vital signs and medical histories Assist with exams and procedures Handle wound care Assist with any duties as required Provide patient education Document and update patient information in EMR Handle front office duties including patient check in, scheduling, insurance verifications, and preauthorizations Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
