Job Summary
Staff Source is seeking a General Production Laborer for a manufacturer in Madison Heights. In this role, you will be an essential part of factory operations, supporting the machining and production processes to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing. Your hands-on contribution will help deliver high-quality products. 1st shift is 7am-3:30pm. Position is Temp-To-Hire. Pay rate is between $18-19hr depending on experience

Duties

• Assist with the machining and assembly of products using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to meet production standards.
• Conduct quality checks on products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including storage and warehouse spaces.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous factory or manufacturing experience is required
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical concepts.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of assembly processes and mechanical knowledge helpful for troubleshooting.
• MUST pass background check
• MUST pass drug test
