Job Summary
We are a small, privately owned business, seeking a customer service-oriented, mature and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping our customers with their shipping needs by providing outstanding service! You will ensure that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the overall operations.

Duties

• Data entry of orders accurately according to customer's requests.
• Handle boxes and packages, including lifting and assisting carrier drivers, utilizing hand carts and dollies.
• Utilize our shipping software to process orders, complete sales and maintain inventory levels.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing packages for compliance with shipping regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities.
• Operate RF scanners to ensure efficient tracking.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize improve efficiency.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized retail environment.

Requirements

• A dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
• Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Willingness to work as part of a team to get the job done.
• Familiarity with computer systems is a plus.
• Notary Public license or ability to obtain one as soon as possible.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing packages.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to lift heavy packages as required for loading and unloading activities.
• A commitment to following safety protocols.
