What You'll Do

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of manufacturing and commercial equipment while ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair complex manufacturing and commercial equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control system issues.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and support production teams with equipment-related issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
• Conduct inspections and identify opportunities for equipment improvements and process optimization.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, operators, and fellow technicians to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Document repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance records accurately.

What You Bring

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Solid mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic systems, motors, conveyors, and production machinery.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC systems and automated equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance programs and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of automation systems and industrial controls.
• Technical certification, trade school training, or related maintenance experience.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stamping Ground, KY.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $68000.00/yr. Health & Insurance Medical, dental, and vision insurance (multiple plans available) — starts on day one Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options Life insurance (about 2× annual salary, up to ~$200,000) Short-term and long-term disability (after about 1 year) Hourly pay roughly $20–$37 depending on skill level and shift Overtime paid at time-and-a-half after 36–40 hours Shift differentials: About $3/hour for night shift Small differential for evening shift Bonuses may include: Production bonuses Incentive bonuses Holiday bonuses 401(k) and Roth 401(k): 100% match up to 3% 50% match on 4–5% contributions Free uniforms (including laundering and flame-resistant clothing) Safety gear benefits: Prescription safety glasses voucher (~$165) Work boot allowance (~$150 every 9–12 months) Paid training and outside training opportunities Tool accounts for certain roles (maintenance, die shop) Company events, small gifts, and referral bonuses
