Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM | On-call required (approximately 5–8 calls per month, including weekends; holiday call may also be required)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate general operating room cases across a variety of surgical specialties
• Provide skilled intraoperative nursing care while maintaining patient safety and sterile technique
• Collaborate with surgical teams in a high-acuity, Level I Trauma Center environment
• Fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled, including weekend and holiday call rotations
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state compact RN license — must be in hand at time of contract start
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to both scrub and circulate general OR cases
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — required
• Ability to wear and maintain a radiation badge (provided)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience circulating and scrubbing in specialty areas such as Plastics, Colorectal, Urology, Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), Pancreatic/Biliary, or Surgical Oncology
• Experience working with robotic-assisted surgical systems
• Prior experience in a teaching facility or Magnet-designated hospital
