Revenue doesn't happen by accident at a hotel — it's built, year over year, by a Director of Sales who knows the market, knows the team, and knows how to translate both into results. As our Director of Sales, you'll own the commercial strategy for the property: the annual marketing plan, the sales team's direction and development, the key account relationships, the pricing strategy, and the digital footprint. You'll sit at the intersection of strategy and execution, working closely with the GM, Revenue leaders, and corporate support to make sure every segment is firing and every dollar of potential is captured. If you're a hotel sales leader who can inspire a team as easily as you can close a deal, we want to meet you. WHAT YOU WILL DO Produce the annual hotel marketing plan and budget; establish campaigns and direct sales efforts across all segments. Lead, recruit, train, develop, and evaluate the sales team; provide ongoing coaching and counseling. Manage digital marketing, social media, public relations, and online platform accuracy. Work with Revenue Leaders to establish business mix, pricing strategy, and revenue forecasts. Monitor sales production; adjust account coverage, priorities, and strategies to hit plan goals. Develop new accounts and grow existing ones across Room Sales, Catering, and Banquet. Attend trade shows and market events locally and nationally; build and maintain key industry relationships. Manage brand compliance for sales collateral, packages, booking guidelines, and event contracts. Execute the Sales Incentive Program and maintain detailed competitor and market intelligence. SKILLS & ABILITIES YOU BRING Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field preferred, or an equivalent level of education and experience. Senior hotel sales leadership experience with a proven record of driving revenue growth. Mastery of the full sales process: prospecting through closing, upselling, and loyalty building. Strong analytical skills; data‑driven approach to campaign effectiveness and ROI. Creative communicator — builds compelling strategies, presentations, and client‑facing materials. Skilled people leader who develops individuals and builds high‑performing teams. Proficiency in hotel sales management systems and Microsoft Office. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional travel for trade shows and brand events. Valid Driver's License may be required. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. SCHEDULE & HOURS This position is full-time , with schedules that may vary based on business need. Flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, may be required. Specific shift details will be discussed during the interview process.
