Elementary Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Clara Bolen Elementary as a full-time Elementary Teacher. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student growth and development. This position requires a passion for teaching, a commitment to student success, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and the community. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and meet the diverse needs of students. Create a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and a love for learning. Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including tests, projects, and observations. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student performance and classroom activities. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends. Manage classroom behavior and implement effective discipline strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment. Provide individualized support to students with varying abilities and learning styles. Organize and participate in school events, field trips, and extracurricular activities. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field. Valid teaching certification for the state in which Clara Bolen Elementary is located. Strong knowledge of child development and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the community. Proficient in using educational technology and tools to enhance learning. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment for all students. Previous teaching experience in an elementary setting is preferred but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
