Dietary Cook

Nemaha County Hospital is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Dietary Cook to join our Dietary Services team. This position plays an important role in providing nutritious, high-quality meals to patients, residents, visitors, and staff. The Dietary Cook is responsible for preparing meals according to established menus, recipes, dietary guidelines, and food safety standards while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a healthcare setting, take pride in food preparation, and understand the important role nutrition plays in patient care and recovery,

Preferred:

• Previous cooking experience in a healthcare, long-term care, school, restaurant, or institutional food service setting.
• Knowledge of therapeutic and modified diets.
• Food Handler's Permit or ServSafe certification.
