Field Sales Representative

Job Title: Field Sales Rep (Wyoming / Montana)

Base pay + Uncapped Commission + Mileage

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Field & Remote work)

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a brand-new delivery program launching in your area. The role involves recruiting local businesses to join a delivery partner program. You will collaborate with a Field Manager and other local contractors to engage with prospective businesses, pitch the program, and guide them through the application process. The position includes coordinating recruitment events and driving referrals through community organizations. Travel of up to a two-hour driving distance is required, with the potential to earn commission per partner converted.

Responsibilities

• Visit prospective businesses door-to-door in targeted towns within a two-hour driving distance.

• Present and pitch the program opportunity to generate interest and applications.

• Qualify businesses and guide them through the application process while managing the pipeline in Salesforce.

• Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting community recruitment events such as lunch and learns and town hall meetings.

• Collaborate with local influencers like chambers of commerce and economic development associations.

• Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis.

Essential Skills

• 1-2+ years in an outbound sales role, preferably door-to-door.

• Experience with CRM systems, Salesforce preferred.

• Sales and account management experience.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Proficient in recruiting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years in sales and/or customer service experience.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Field sales experience is a plus.

• Experience in sales and/or negotiation roles with customers is beneficial.

• Professionalism and enthusiasm to work with others.

• High sense of urgency and attention to detail.

• Ability to solve problems for applicants in the field.

• Tech-savvy with experience in multiple systems and technology.

• Ability to travel up to a four-hour round trip distance daily.

Work Environment

Candidates must reside in or near Missoula, Helena, or Cody/Sheridan, Wyoming. The role involves fieldwork and travel, with mileage compensated at $0.725 per mile. A monthly phone expense of $50 is provided. The position offers an uncapped commission structure with payments at various stages of the partner conversion process. The job emphasizes building partnerships within the local community.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
