Procurement Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing energy company in the Oklahoma City, OK area to fill a Procurement Specialist position. This position is a unique blend of procurement, accounts payable, and inventory support responsibilities, providing exposure to multiple areas of the business. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong organizational skills, and is comfortable collaborating across operations, finance, sales, and warehouse teams. Key Responsibilities Source and procure materials, chemicals, supplies, and services from approved vendors Create, manage, and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery Process vendor invoices and perform three-way matching (PO, invoice, and receipt) Verify pricing, quantities, and supporting documentation for accuracy Assist with inventory tracking, reconciliation, and record maintenance Support the preparation of customer bids and proposals Maintain supplier information, pricing data, and vendor agreements Coordinate with internal departments to resolve purchasing and invoicing issues Conduct supplier research and assist with vendor performance evaluations Support cost-saving initiatives and month-end activities Prepare reports and perform other administrative duties as needed Qualifications Minimum 1-3 years of experience in procurement, accounts payable, inventory, supply chain, or a related field Experience with vendor invoice processing and purchase order matching preferred Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred Experience working with ERP systems Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing business needs Experience in the oil & gas, chemical, manufacturing, or industrial sectors is a plus Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and company holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
