Specimen Accessioner-2nd shift

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor to prepare, identify, and route laboratory specimens for testing in a second-shift role in Columbus, Georgia. The position involves specimen handling, labeling, data entry, and shipping in a high-throughput clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and route to appropriate staging areas
- Accurately identify, label, pack, and ship specimens to testing facilities
- Perform data entry of patient information in timely and accurate manner
- Resolve and document problem specimens; store excess samples properly
- Meet department activity and production goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience
- Ability to accurately identify and handle biological specimens
- Strong data entry and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and pass color blindness test
