Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech Outpatient

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 schedule, Wednesday through Saturday with varied shift times
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• No call requirements
• Must be available to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• May be required to float to other departments based on competency level
• Minimum two years clinical experience in CT required
• Trauma experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required licenses: American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT(R), AART(CT), State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography
• AHA BLS certification required within 60 days of hire
• Perform CT procedures of the human body according to departmental guidelines
• Operate sophisticated CT imaging units and image storage systems
• Administer IV contrast materials under radiologist direction
• Provide patient care for neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Coordinate daily workflow for ER, inpatient, and outpatient cases
• Perform appropriate QC monitoring as specified
• Handle advanced imaging for trauma, stroke, and critical cases
• Maintain current certifications and mandatory in-services

This regional medical center serves as the only Level II Trauma Center between Sacramento and Salt Lake City, treating over 80,000 ER and trauma patients annually. The facility features state-of-the-art technology and equipment, including the first accredited heart failure center in northern Nevada, the region's first Institute for Neurosciences, and advanced imaging capabilities such as low-dose CT, Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, PET/CT scanner, and 3T MRI technologies. The medical center also houses the region's only children's hospital and provides comprehensive heart, cancer, and neuroscience services.
