Reimbursement Analyst

We are seeking a Reimbursement Analyst to join a highly collaborative government reimbursement team supporting a large, multi-facility healthcare system. This individual will assist with the preparation, analysis, and review of Medicare cost reports for hospitals and healthcare facilities across the organization. Working closely with senior analysts, managers, and leadership, the analyst will help ensure compliance with government reimbursement regulations while supporting accurate reimbursement reporting and financial analysis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals looking to develop expertise within healthcare finance and reimbursement. Candidates will gain exposure to Medicare cost reporting, reimbursement methodologies, regulatory compliance, and healthcare financial operations while working alongside experienced reimbursement professionals. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable working with large datasets in Excel, and eager to learn a specialized area of healthcare finance. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments are essential for success in this position.

This position operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring onsite attendance three days per week (Monday Wednesday, Thursday) and remote work two days per week.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Economics, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong Excel experience
- Experience working with financial reporting tools


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Internship or professional experience in accounting, finance, healthcare finance, or revenue cycle
- Exposure to healthcare reimbursement concepts
