Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals and snacks to students and staff following established menus and portion guidelines.

• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety protocols.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies to ensure freshness and proper inventory management.
• Engage courteously with students and staff, addressing any dietary needs or concerns as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English.
• Demonstrated manual dexterity to handle food preparation and serving tasks.
• Capability to stand for extended periods during meal service times.
• Knowledge of and commitment to proper sanitization and food safety practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a food service or cafeteria environment.
• Basic knowledge of nutrition and dietary restrictions relevant to school-aged children.
• Certification in food handling or safety (e.g., ServSafe).
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
