Position: Non-CDL Truck Driver Location: Warren, RI Remote Status: On-Site Job Id: 252 # of Openings: 1 Non-CDL Truck Driver Description: Join Our Family with a $1000 Sign-On Bonus! * Leading wine & spirits wholesaler, M.S. Walker, seeks dedicated and motivated Truck Driver with a non-CDL Class B license to facilitate the movement of goods and product in a safe and productive manner. Drive company trucks while providing a positive image through on-time delivery and customer service. Shift:Full-time hours, Tuesday-Friday 7:30 am - completion of daily route *Eligible for $1000 signing bonus after a 90-day probationary period. Responsibilities : Drive company vehicles to deliver goods to accounts. Follow and understand verbal directions from management while carrying out tasks in a productive and safe manner. Follow all company safety procedures Work and communicate with fellow workers and management in an effective, positive manner to assure the completion of assigned tasks. Requirements: 1-2 years of professional driving experience Possess a clean driving record Non-CDL Class B license Drug/Alcohol free according to D.O.T. requirements Pass D.O.T. physical and/or possess current D.O.T. medical card Must be organized and possess good communication skills Must be able to work up to 10 hours per day Ability to recognize and distinguish product is essential Must be able to deliver loads in excess of 250 cases and complete in excess of 20 route stops per day Must be able to complete proper documentation of invoices according to Company policies and standards Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: The ability to work at heights Long periods of sitting standing, bending and heavy lifting Ability to lift single cases weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly and for long durations of time The ability to handle a 2-wheeler with up to 250 pounds maximum weight up and down stairs and in tight quarters Must be physically able to do repeated entry and exit of truck cab and box during the course of the day Functions necessary to complete the above listed requirements of job description: Stand: Frequently Bend/Squat: Frequently Climb: Occasionally Computation Skills: Occasionally Lift/Carry 0-55 lbs: Frequently Push/Pull: Frequently Reach overhead: Frequently Sit: Frequently Use of Computer: Occasionally Verbal Communication: Frequently Walk: Frequently (Occasionally = 0-2 Hours Daily , Frequently = 3-5 Hours Daily , Continuously = 6-10 Hours Daily) Benefits: We offer a Comprehensive Benefits Plan that includes the following: Medical & Dental Insurance Vision Coverage Generous Paid-Time-Off Program Fidelity Investments 401k Disability, Life, Accident & Illness Insurance Packages Discounted Fitness Memberships Free & Discounted Work/Life Resources Who we are: Founded in Boston in 1933, M.S.
