Transportation Driver

The driver will make the first impression upon our members and guests by extending a warm welcome, providing information about the Club and local area. The driver will provide exceptional service, anticipate member needs and manage all requests with a sense of urgency and will maintain a proactive approach to providing solutions.The Transportation Driver will safely transport members of the Daniel Island Club and their guests to various places such as; downtown Charleston and surrounding areas, airport transfers, and golf trips. Trips are assigned by the Transportation Supervisor with a 48-hour notice.Salary Range - $10/hr + auto gratuities and cash tipsGood knowledge of the Charleston and surrounding areasPerforms all other duties as directed by immediate supervisors.Working as a team, effectively communicating with management and co-workers.Ensure that member and associates areas are maintained in a safe and secure environment.Always being positive, showing enthusiasm, being humble, being thankful, and being respectful to all team members.TRANSPORTATION DRIVERSafely transporting guests to local destinationMust keep the vehicle cleaned and in good condition for the guests.Develop familiarity with members and their families, learning and using member namesProvide guests with an exceptional arrival and departure experience, assisting with luggage and other packagesMaintain confidentiality of all members and Club informationMust be at least 21 years old.Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving history.Experience driving in all different weather conditions required.Punctuality is essential.Must be dependable.Neat, well groomed appearance required at all times.Previous experience as a driver for a hospitality or private organization a plus.Be able to communicate clearly with members and guests.Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, polite and energetic. #J-18808-Ljbffr
