We're partnering with a highly respected consumer brand seeking a hands-on Corporate Controller to lead the accounting function and serve as a key financial leader within the organization. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and operating as both a strategic partner and a hands-on operator. You'll oversee the integrity of financial reporting, guide the close and audit processes, strengthen internal controls, and help shape the future of the finance organization. What You'll Own Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Oversee preparation of financial statements, cash flow reporting, and management reporting packages. Ensure financial reporting is timely, accurate, and aligned with U.S. GAAP. Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives. Accounting Operations Drive continuous improvement across accounting processes, systems, and internal controls. Own technical accounting research, policy development, and implementation. Ensure compliance with evolving accounting standards and reporting requirements. Oversee cash management and accounts payable functions. Audit & Compliance Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors. Lead annual audit preparation, execution, and completion. Maintain a strong internal control environment and support organizational compliance initiatives. Team Development Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting team. Create scalable processes that support business growth. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. What Makes Someone Successful Here Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and financial reporting Experience leading audits, close processes, and accounting operations Proven ability to build processes, improve systems, and drive efficiencies Comfortable rolling up your sleeves while also operating strategically Exceptional communication skills and executive presence Experience leading and developing teams Bonus Points For Consumer products, retail, apparel, lifestyle, or related industry experience ERP implementation or system optimization experience Prior experience supporting high-growth organizations #J-18808-Ljbffr The People Brand
