Clemons/Chesterfield area for the 2026/2027 School Year. Paraprofessionals support students with developmental disabilities, working closely with support staff and behavioral coaches to provide academic, emotional, and behavioral support and redirection. CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS School Hours - Monday to Friday (Schedules vary by level) Competitive Compensation starting at $19+ hourly* SUMMARY OF CLIENTS DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY Assist student in the general education classroom with note taking, testing, etc. Alerts regular teacher to any problem or special information about the individual student(s) Assist with student's participation in small groups of students as directed by the classroom teacher. Assist in checking and correction of papers and preparation of materials under the direction of the teacher. Assist with audio-visual and computer setups and operation. Monitor the instruction activities of the student and assist as appropriate or as directed by the classroom teacher. CLIENTS REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Must have own transportation Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent required. Experience working with Special Needs children highly preferred.
