Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily focus on mechanical tasks with some electrical responsibilities. This role involves performing maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment including forming mills, coating lines, cutting machines, extrusion units, conveyors, and plating lines. Additionally, you will handle secondary equipment such as pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, and gears.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on forming mills, coating lines, cutting machines, extrusion units, conveyors, and plating lines.
• Handle secondary equipment including pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, and gears.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting up to 480v three-phase, 120v single phase, and 24v ac/dc.
• Troubleshoot and repair limit switches, proximity switches, sensors, and motors.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Conduct MIG and some ARC welding.
• Disassemble and rebuild machine components.
• Perform general building maintenance tasks such as plumbing, changing lights, and painting.
• Clean furnaces by clearing raw materials using a rod and pipe.
• Lift and handle items weighing up to 50lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wauseon, OH.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Wauseon,OH.
