Quality Control Technician I

Quality Control Technician IAmrize is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Control Technician to support the quality, consistency, and performance of our products across residential and commercial construction projects. In this hands-on role, you'll conduct laboratory and field testing, analyze material samples, and work closely with production teams to ensure our products meet project requirements and industry standards. This position supports a special project and includes weekly per diem to help offset expenses associated with the project assignment, along with a retention bonus. Prepare required documents with test results to be presented to production personnel and quality control management. Maintains mix designs as required by the project, DOT or local city/county specifications or to ensure accuracy of products used in mix. Ensure that safety, compliance and environmental requirements are followed. Records, analyzes, certifies and prepares summaries of findings by providing technical support for production. Assist in the investigation and testing, and sampling of raw materials and finished products to help solve quality problems. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.Education: High school diploma or 3-5 years of equivalent experience. Additional Education Preferred: Associate's degree Required Training/Certifications: State regulated or industry certifications, as required Travel Requirements: 30-40% Additional Requirements: Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators.
