Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Knox, Indiana. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply today and a recruiter will follow up with the details. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Active state Physical Therapist Assistant license in Indiana required to start the assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Outpatient physical therapy experience within the last 2 years is required. No new graduates. Minimum prior clinical experience required. Experience implementing therapeutic interventions including posture training, strengthening, balance and coordination exercises, joint mobility, pain relief techniques, and functional skills training. Proficiency with common outpatient modalities and equipment including hot/cold packs, ultrasound, TENS, whirlpool, paraffin, fluidotherapy, therapeutic pool (if applicable), and assistive devices such as canes, crutches, walkers, and wheelchairs. Demonstrated ability to follow safe patient handling and infection control procedures. Ability to document patient progress and provide patient and family education per clinic standards. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement activities. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to other clinic locations if floating is required may be necessary. Preferred: Additional certifications or training in outpatient orthopedics, therapeutic modalities, or manual techniques. Assignment Details Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
