GVWR while working closely with our Dispatch team.This role takes more than a CDL. Every decision matters.What you'll do:Provide heavy-duty towing and roadside assistance safely, professionally, and on timeComplete scheduled heavy-duty towing, transport, deliveries, and pickupsOperate heavy-duty wreckers, rollbacks, and recovery vehicles safely and efficientlyRespond to Dispatch and communicate throughout each assignmentPerform complete DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsMaintain accurate, up-to-date driver logs and trip sheetsComplete and submit required dispatch and administrative paperwork on timeGenerate and submit proper delivery and recovery documentation through Tow BookNavigate using maps and GPS, plan routes, and follow written and verbal instructionsFollow all applicable DOT regulations, traffic laws, company policies, and safety proceduresFollow proper accident procedures when requiredProtect and maintain company trucks, equipment, merchandise, and other assetsKeep your assigned truck clean, professional, and road-readyWash and maintain your truck during available downtimeImmediately report mechanical problems or equipment concerns to managementProperly handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials when requiredHandle customer concerns calmly, professionally, and respectfullyTake on additional assignments as operational needs requireDispatch has your back. You need to have theirs. Heavy-duty towing is a team operation. The driver is on the road. Dispatch is coordinating the move. Management is supporting the operation. And communication keeps everything moving. We're looking for someone who understands that keeping Dispatch informed is part of doing the job right.Good communication equals better operations. No shortcuts with heavy equipment. A truck over 26,000 lbs. doesn't care if you're in a hurry. Neither does physics. That's why we expect our drivers to do things the right way. Inspect the truck.
