Field Service Technician II - Shelbyville, KY

Field Service Technician II at Baxter performs maintenance, repair, and delivery of medical devices across hospital and service center locations. The role involves troubleshooting electronic and hydraulic systems, managing fleet vehicles, and providing on-call support including 24/7 coverage.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on assigned products
- Clean, disinfect, and perform operational function checks on medical equipment
- Load, unload, and transport medical products using various fleet vehicles
- Provide on-call service coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Generate service revenue and fulfill requirements under service contracts
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to lift and handle equipment up to 1,680 pounds
- DOT physical card preferred
- Experience with FDA-regulated products preferred
Compensation: $46,400–$63,800
