Housekeeper - Retirement Community

$1,000 Sign on Bonus

Saxony Village is looking for a dependable, hospitality-minded Housekeeper to keep residents’ homes and common areas clean and welcoming in our retirement community. You’ll follow established routines, respect residents’ privacy, and help create a comfortable, safe environment. Guided by our core values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship, you’ll be an important part of our team and the daily life of our community.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Provide scheduled housekeeping in residents’ homes
• Clean common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and meeting spaces
• Perform routine tasks: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing bathrooms, and trash removal
• Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies as needed
• Maintain organization of carts, closets, and supply areas
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Follow cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and infection control standards
• Interact respectfully with residents, families, guests, and team members
• Respect residents’ privacy and preferences
• Assist with seasonal deep cleaning, special events, or additional assignments

In this full-time position, you will enjoy typical day shift hours working 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a rotating weekend schedule and take part in our many benefits including:

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Dependable, organized, and flexible
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
• Comfortable working in a pet-friendly community
