Position Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care and manages own caseload under the supervision of a physical therapist in the home, school, and community settings. Completes daily treatment notes, collaborates with the supervising physical therapist to support initial and annual evaluations, supports plan of care documents, and other documentation as needed within the required time frame. PT: Completes initial and annual evaluations and plan of cares Implements theories of practice models supporting Sensory Innovation Therapies’ therapeutic model. Creates innovative treatments to support the child’s engagement and participation in meaningful occupations. Participates in on-going collaboration with the client's team and family including emails, phone calls and face-to-face discussions, as needed. Establishes and maintains relationships with clients and families by providing parent education, home programs, and parent support as needed. Creates visual schedules, social stories, and home programs to help support therapy goals. Enhance client engagement in health, well-being, and life quality through performance skills support Participates in supervision meetings to support clinical development. Participate in all required company orientation, professional development and ongoing trainings as required. Actively participates in staff meetings and team meetings, as needed. Follows all company policies and procedures. Moderate physical effort (lift/carry/push up to 25 lbs), endurance, and mobility to play with children. Requirements: PTA: Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program PT: Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program, or equivalent Current Florida Physical Therapy/ PTA license Criminal record clearance, or formal exemption Experience working with children or clients with special needs Weekly supervision to support clinical development Part-time, W-2 position with flexibility in schedule with opportunity for full-time caseload Paid travel Opportunities for advancement Schedule: We offer services Monday-Saturday between 8am and 7pm, offering flexibility to meet your scheduling needs.
