About the Role

As Senior Planning Manager, you will lead sub-category strategic financial plans, manage in-season forecasting, and conduct business analysis that supports overall category initiatives in partnership with merchant sub-category lead and supporting the Category Planning Manager.


What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Buyers to develop and manage a customer focused merchandising strategy to deliver company targets
• Develop Omni assortment strategies utilizing both store and digital insights
• Build Omni seasonal class plans and manage in-season open-to-buy to ensure performance goals are achieved by month, quarter and season
• Create and manage Omni channel projection analysis, highlight inventory opportunities and risks, deliver inventory recommendations and communicate shifts to Buyers and vendor partners
• Analyze Omni sales results and partner with vendor community to react to current business and identify trends for future strategies
• Utilize Omni Channel Fulfillment team recommendations for Ship From Store (SFS) and Buy Online Pick Up in Store (BOPUS) targets to inform Buyer and Associate Buyer of inventory placement strategies channel
• Build and develop strong internal and external vendor partnerships and communicate financial goals and performance
• Plan inventory to execute merchandise strategies
• Review in-season channel performance to identify potential changes to inventory placement strategies and leverage Omni Channel Fulfillment Team to implement any changes
• Partner with analyst to develop pre-season and in-season allocation and replenishment strategies to execute merchandise strategies
• Create contingency plans that allow the business to hit financial goals
• Drives team engagement and office culture
• Coach, lead and mentor Associate Planners, motivating and empowering the team to deliver results
• Support and execute the team vision, set clear objectives, assign and direct work, manage performance, and maintain open communications to create an effective work environment
• Additional tasks may be assigned

What Skills You Have

Required

• Multiple years experience in retail merchandising, planning and/or allocation
• Strategic leader with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced business environment
• Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor's Degree

Special Requirements

• Travel

'This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You'll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
