CMM Programmer - 1st Shift

Description Core Responsibilities of the CMM Operator: Develop, modify, validate, and maintain CMM programs for production and first article inspections. Program and operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS Software (Must know) Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Apply advanced GD&T principles in accordance with ASME Y14.5. Support First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102. Troubleshoot dimensional issues and support root cause investigations. Develop inspection methods and optimize measurement strategies to improve throughput and repeatability. Assist with gauge validation and measurement system studies. Provide technical support and training for inspectors and manufacturing personnel. Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company quality requirements. Qualifications for the CMM Operator: Minimum five (5) years of CMM Programming experience Minimum five (5) years’ experience interpreting complex GD&T requirements High School Diploma or GED required Advanced knowledge of PC-DMIS software Experience with: Aerospace Machining and Inspection First Article Inspection Requirements Precision Measuring Equipment Knowledge and ability to use key measuring and product handling equipment. Basic computer program understanding. Interact and communicate in a professional and effective manner with all level of employees. Schedule and organize time and tasks effectively Ability to work in a challenging and schedule driven environment Strong organizational skills.
