Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds - 29
• Number of Staff – 20
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 1 CNC/charge and 3-4 RNs
  • Night Shift – 1CNC/charge 2-3 RNs
• Patient Ratios – 4-6:1
• Type of equipment - Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, POC Glucose monitoring
• EMR - Meditech / CPN

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 1-year current acute care Postpartum experience
• BLS & NRP

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• OB experience
• Med-surg experience
• GYN experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Post-operative Gynecological surgeries, Urogynecology surgeries, ectopic pregnancies, high risk pregnancies requiring hospitalization (PPROM, Preeclampsia, Previa, PTL etc.)
• Fetal monitoring (NSTs), GYN oncology post op, women's health med-surg, post-partum NICU moms, or readmitted post-partum complications
