Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology

Position involves providing nursing care in a Pain Management and Interventional Radiology setting. Shifts are scheduled for five days a week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. On-call rotation is assigned on a weekly basis Monday through Friday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Weekend and holiday availability required for 24-hour on-call service. Occasional weekend day shifts are needed, typically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Staffing generally requires availability for every other weekend, with a maximum of two weekends per month. Requests for time off are limited to five days, with no more than two consecutive days. Mandatory floating within the department may be required to meet staffing needs. All nursing staff are expected to wear lead when necessary. Experience with charting system required, specifically Cerner. Two professional references from recent employers are mandatory before starting. Individual must demonstrate competencies related to interventional radiology procedures such as angioplasty and carotid stenting. Compliance with all infection control and safety protocols is expected.
