Casino Cage Auditor

A Casino Cage Auditor, often called a Revenue Auditor or Gaming Auditor, is a crucial part of a casino's finance and compliance team. Their primary responsibility is to ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial transactions within the casino's "cage" or cashiering area. They are the eyes and ears of the casino's financial security, making sure that the casino's funds are properly accounted for and that all operations comply with internal controls and government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Nevada Gaming Regulations: You'll need to know the ins and outs of Nevada's gaming laws.

• Auditing Background: Ideally, you've got some auditing experience, especially in gaming or hospitality.

• Math & Analytics: strong math skills are a must for digging into data and spotting any issues.

• Sharp Eye for Detail: Being meticulous is key for accurate auditing and reporting.

• Clear Communication: You'll need to be great at both talking and writing to report your findings and work with others.

• Computer Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access) and any relevant auditing software is often required.

• Nevada Gaming Card: You'll have to be able to get a Nevada Gaming Card; it's a requirement for working in the state's gaming industry.
