Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients and establish individualized therapy strategies aimed at supporting their specific functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ research-supported methodologies to improve patients' physical and cognitive abilities as well as daily activities
• Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide well-rounded, integrated patient care
• Teach Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapy practices to promote sustained progress outside of sessions
• Track Progress and Adjust Care: Evaluate clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches when needed, guaranteeing that patients remain on their path to recovery

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education or post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
