The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder by implementing behavioral intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The role involves working in a variety of settings including in-home and community-based environments to promote client progress and ensure effective treatment delivery.

 

Responsibilities

• Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors and treatment progress
• Implement behavior intervention strategies according to individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct support and assistance to clients during sessions
• Document session activities and client responses thoroughly
• Communicate effectively with the BCBA and other team members regarding client progress and concerns

 

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in applied behavior analysis
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis
• Familiarity with behavioral intervention techniques
• Strong communication skills
