We’re looking for a Head of Industry to build and grow MNTN’s Restaurant, Automotive, and Travel industries within our Emerging Verticals business. You’ll identify where we have the strongest opportunity to win, turn early traction into a clear go-to-market strategy, identify mutually beneficial partnerships and lead Vertical Leads and their teams as they establish MNTN in new markets.

This is a hands‑on role for a builder. You’ll help create the playbook while delivering against it, develop vertical strategies, shape major deals, build industry credibility, and turn early customer wins into repeatable growth.

What You’ll Do

• Own the strategy and new‑business revenue performance across assigned emerging verticals, identifying where we have the strongest opportunity to compete, win, and scale.
• Build go‑to‑market plans for each vertical, including target customers, positioning, sales narratives, and paths to sustainable growth.
• Lead and develop Vertical Leads as they build accountable teams, create new sales motions, and establish MNTN in markets that are still taking shape.
• Build MNTN’s industry presence and credibility through strong relationships, a clear market point of view, and direct involvement in high‑value, complex opportunities.
• Turn early customer wins, market insights, and competitive signals into repeatable playbooks that strengthen our approach and make each vertical easier to scale.
• Partner with Customer Success leadership to connect pipeline generation, new‑business sales, customer outcomes, expansion opportunities, and vertical proof points.
• Establish strong forecasting, pipeline, and performance discipline while using market potential and customer feedback to recommend where MNTN should invest, adjust its approach, or move on.

• Sales and Customer Success operate with clear ownership and a connected strategy for developing each vertical.
• MNTN makes smarter investment decisions based on clear market signals, customer feedback, and revenue potential.

What You’ll Bring

• 10+ years of experience in digital advertising, media sales, AdTech, or consultative SaaS sales, including significant sales leadership experience.
• A track record of entering new markets, developing emerging customer segments, or building new revenue motions from the ground up ideally within Restaurants, Automotive, and/or Travel
• Experience leading leaders and developing sales teams in environments where the playbook is still evolving.
• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to assess market potential, prioritize opportunities, and decide where to invest.
• Deep knowledge of performance marketing, digital advertising, media buying, and full‑funnel measurement.
• Experience turning market insights and early customer wins into positioning, playbooks, and sales motions that scale.
• The ability to build credibility with senior advertisers, industry partners, and internal leaders.
• Operational discipline across forecasting, pipeline management, deal strategy, and performance management.
• Strong cross‑functional instincts and experience aligning teams you influence but don’t directly lead.
• A builder mindset: you’re energized by white space, comfortable testing and learning, and know how to turn momentum into a business.
